Inspired by the Parisian terasses and cafés that spill onto the pavements, the French Café collection celebrates the beauty of slow rituals and everyday gathering. Each piece is shaped from aluminium using a combination of hand-forming, bending and fabrication techniques that preserve the spontaneity of a drawn line. Soft curves and irregular surfaces bring warmth and character to the collection, while the raw aluminium finish reveals the honesty of its making.
Our interpretation of the Thonet chair reimagines the familiar bentwood silhouette in raw aluminium. Designed to be both comfortable and characterful, its lightness and suitability to external environments makes it the perfect chair for many situations.
Each of these pieces is handmade in our East London workshop. Each piece will be marked for authenticity.
We make these pieces by hand. Please allow us 4-6 weeks to get it ready.
Each cafe chair measures approx: 430 mm by 500 mm by 880 mm high.

When will I get my order?
Most of our pieces are made to order.
Our normal lead times are 4-6 weeks. If you have a specific deadline you'd like us to work to please contact us.
If the piece is stated as in stock it will ship out next day.
How do I look after my piece?
Aluminium needs very little maintenance, just keep it away from other metals in a wet environment as it can react with them.
Our steel pieces need to be kept out of wet environments and will occasionally need a top up of natural danish oil to prevent rust.
Can I use this outdoors?
All of our aluminium pieces can be used outdoors (unless they are electrical).
Our range of blackened steel products are not suitable for outdoor or bathroom use.
Can I have this in a different size?
Yes! we can make any piece to any size you require- please contact us for a quote
Will I have to pay tax?
We now ship all of our pieces with taxes fully paid to the UK, EU and US.
